Community Outreach Coordinator

Summary
As a part of the Community Outreach team, your mission is to foster the Parkmerced brand, drive sales through the referral program, and observe and report any incidents which may occur on the property while always delivering excellent customer service!

The Community Outreach employee will act according to company’s values of integrity, resident centricity, and teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify sales opportunities and generate resident referrals.
• Provide pleasant and gracious assistance to all who visit the property.
• Respond courteously to resident concerns and questions and take prompt action to solve problems and/or document.
• Keep all resident information confidential and account records accurate.
• Ensure a smooth transition and accurate transfer of information between shifts.
• Engage residents and offer customer service support in field.
• Perform routine rounds on foot to create a strong presence within the community.
• Issue warnings to violators of premise rules and regulations to ensure community policies are being adhered to.
• Initiate and respond to parking violations throughout the property.
• Assist Accounting in apartment evictions.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Valid CA driver’s license.
• Proactive and critical thinking with the ability to organize, prioritize, and plan.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Yardi knowledge preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure.
Education/ Experience:
• 2+ years sales and/or customer service experience.
• High school diploma required, some college preferred.
• Previous patrolling experience preferred.
