Systems Administrator/Engineer

As the Systems Administrator/Engineer you will be the lead engineer helping Maximus grow our business while ensuring that the reliability and performance of our systems and services meet the needs of our staff and residents. The ideal candidate will have diverse experience managing cloud and hybrid based systems. You will be responsible for the support, maintenance and configuration of our network infrastructure, cloud based services, workstations and mobile devices.

Responsibilities/Essential Job Duties


Manage the day-to-day operations of in-house and cloud based services such as Office 365, Microsoft AD & Manage the network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls and DNS. Manage our RingCentral Phone System & InContact Call Center Software.


Develop and manage projects for new software and services. Develop user training programs and guides.


Provide user support for PCs, Macs and mobile devices.


  • 3+ years managing Office 365.
  • 3+ years managing Active Directory including the use of PowerShell and Group Policies.
  • 3+ years managing networking equipment, particularly Cisco routers, firewalls, switches and wireless APs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Travel within the Bay Area is required.

Education and/or Experience

  • CCNA or equivalent knowledge is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience with the latest Microsoft AD services, including PowerShell and Group Policies.
  • Extensive experience with cloud based services Office 365, & RingCentral.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Microsoft certifications preferred.
